Washi Easter Egg
For a recent team swap we had the theme of Spring or Easter. I wanted to use product that I had on hand to make an Easter card. I love washi tape because it so colorful and easy to work with so I knew I would be using it for my card. I decided I wanted a little pattern on the top layer (that the egg shape is cut from) so I decided to use pretty paper, but this layer could have been cardstock and a pattern could have been stamped on it. I hope this gives you ideas of other shapes you could cut out and other washi tape you could use to create an easy but desirable card.
Use the removed oval piece to outline the shape on the cardbase.
Then adhere strips of washi tape to the cardbase to cover entire oval.
Cover washi tape covered base with pretty paper that has an oval cut out.
Add punched bitty flowers and greeting punched with Washi Label punch.
