M y recent swap card has a soft touch of Spring. All the promise of warmer weather and sweet smells of field flowers. I was so honored to have this card selected as the best of the swap at our recent team meeting. I have only received this honor two other times, so it is rewarding to have such a talented bunch choose your design as their favorite. This card could easily transition to sympathy card, thinking of you, birthday, or congratulations.
Supplies needed:

Project Recipe:

Standard cardbase (Crumb Cake) 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded in half to create 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card front (left fold).
Layered cardstock: Pool Party 3 3/4" x 4"
Crumb Cake 3 1/2" x 3 3/4"
Whisper White 3 1/4" x 3"

Watercolor the flowers with inks of choice using a blender pen and the inside lid of the ink pads.

Embellishment detail: Pool party ribbon with Venetian Crochet trim layered over the top. Wrapped to back of white panel and adhered.
Tie a bow with linen thread, trim to length.
Attach a small piece of a doily to the back of the white panel.

After embellishment is on then adhere layers together. Use dimensionals to adhere white to crumb cake and pool party to card base.
