Flurry of Wishes for Christmas |
![]() |
I f you love snowflakes on your cards and not on your sidewalks then this is the project for you! Shades of blue with lots of glimmer, sparkle, and shine. Stamping the greeting on a vellum banner adds a special touch. I plan to use this color combination and stamp set for several projects this card making season.

Card base (Marina Mist): 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded in half at 4 1/4" x 51/2" to make a right opening card.
Accent layer (Night of Navy): Cut piece to 4" x 5 1/4". Center and adhere to front of card base.
Stamping layer (Whisper White): Cut to 3 3/4" x 5"
Using the snowflakes from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set and Night of Navy and Marina Mist ink, stamp a variety of snowflakes all over the Whisper White stamping layer. Stamp off some of the Night of Navy ink to create a trio of colors.
Add a string of silver sequin trim approx. 4 1/2" long across the front of the stamping layer. Adhere using strong adhesive on the back of layer.
Center and using Stampin' Dimensionals to raise panel, adhere to layered card front.
Using 1" wide strips of Whisper White (4" long) and vellum cardstock (3 3/4" long), punch the left end of the strips using the banner punch.
Stamp greeting in Night of Navy ink on shortened vellum banner.
Layer vellum banner over shortened Whisper White banner and adhere on right end.
Punch a set of two sizes of snowflakes from each Silver glimmer and Dazzling Diamond glimmer paper.
Layer one silver and one DD snowflake with the opposite size of the other. Use a glue dot to adhere the layers together and to attach on the right end of the banner greeting and on a random front location.
Add a rhinestone to the center of the layered glimmer snowflakes.
Stamp greeting and a snowflake inside card using Night of Navy ink.
Use Marina Mist ink to stamp the smallest snowflake on the center of the back of the card.
Don't forget to decorate your envelope with a snowflake or two.
