Easy card with added pretties |

I
made this card recently to share with some friends. I love the Share What you love paper and using the Embellishment Kit really added some interest on this card.
There are three kinds of ribbon or trim on this card to add a little focal point.

Classic layout 1 (left fold card): Cut 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock in half to create two 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" cardbases (Tranquil Tide shown). Fold in half along the 8 1/2' side.
Cut two pieces of pretty paper. One is 4" x 5 1/4" and is used as the background on the card base. One is 3" x3" and is turned diagonal and used for accent (paper shown is Share What You Love Specialty Paper).
Adhere the paper pieces to the cardstock for the larger one and to the pretty paper for the square piece using SNAIL adhesive.
Cut one of the pearilized doilies in half and attach it to the lower portion of the square piece of cardstock.
Stamp your greeting onto one of the lazer cut greeting tag. Ink shown is Tranquil Tide. Would Happy Anniversary or Happy Birthday look divine on this tag instead?
Use Dimensionals to pop the tag up off the background.
Cut a piece of velvet ribbon to stretch across the tag.
Clip a paperclip and adhere a rosette from the Share What You Love embellishment kit onto the velvet ribbon.
Attach a piece of Polka Dot Tulle ribbon that you have twisted the end to allow a "pouf" at one end and leave the other ends free. Tie teh "pouf" with Baker's Twine from the Embellishment Kit. Trim ends if needed. This will be clipped into the paper clip embellishment as well
Add a few pearls in various positions on the tag to add color and interest.
