Layers of stamps can say I love you |

here are lots of pretty layers of stamps used on this card. It is easy to put together but looks like it took lots of work.
It uses a pretty color combination to create a non-traditional Valentines color palette that is perfect year round to tell someone you love them.

Project Recipe:

Cardbase: Powder Pink 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".
Scored along the long side at 4 1/4".
Fold in half to create left fold opening.Background & inside piece: Whisper White
4" x 5 1/4" each pieceAccent piece: Flirty Flamingo 4" x 1"
Greeting piece: Scrap pieces (Whisper White) approx 2 " x 3" and approx 1 1/4" x 2")

Stamp the Background layer (Whisper White) with several of the flowery/lacy heart stamp from Bloomin' Love stamp set using Powder Pink ink.
I started with the first heart towards the top right and made sure some of the heart was off the main paper. You can turn the stamp to vary the look of the heart.
After you have this piece covered then stamp in the open spaces with the small heart from the same stamp set using Flirty Flamingo ink.

Position the stamped piece of Whisper White cardstock onto the front of the cardbase. Attach with SNAIL or your favorite adhesive.
Attach the Flirty Flamingo piece of cardstock just below halfway on the front of the stamped piece of Whisper White cardstock.
Add a piece of Bermuda Bay chevron ribbon approx 3" long to the center of the Flirty Flamingo piece.

Stamp the LOVE greeting on the smaller of the scrap pieces of Whisper White cardstock using Flirty Flamingo ink. Punch it out using the Pretty Label Punch. You will need to trim the sides to "square them off".
Stamp the outline stamp in Bermuda Bay ink on the larger Whisper White scrap piece. Punch it out using the Everyday Label Punch.

Layer the punched and trimmed LOVE greeting onto the center of the Bermuda Bay outline piece. Attach using Stampin' Dimensionals to give it a little depth.
Put a couple of more Stampin' Dimensionals to the back of the combined piece and put it over the Flirty Flamingo/ribbon accent piece. I put mine in approx 1/4" from the right side.

Inside the card (Whisper White) stamp one Powder Pink Heart in the center of the piece.
Stamp the greeting (I think it more often than I say it, but I just want to make sure you know it) from Flourishing Phrases using Bermuda Bay ink over the pink heart.
Stamp the answer greeting (I love you) also from Flourishing Phrases in Bermuda Bay ink too.
Stamp the little heart around the word YOU using Flirty Flamingo ink.
