Behind the Scenes - From Old to New Pt 2 |
![]() |
Y ou got to see where this design started from and some preliminary ideas. Now you can see the finished card. There are some changes, such as I went back to a circle instead of a heart shape for the focal point. I did add embossing to the pink layer and I dressed up the existing heart on the bear with an enamel shape.

Cardbase: Crumb Cake 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".
Scored along the long side at 4 1/4".
Fold in half to create left fold opening.
Accent piece: Pink Pirouette 3" x 5"
Greeting piece: Scrap pieces off Whisper White (approx 2 1/2" x 2 1/2") and Crumb Cake (approx 1" x 3")
Stamp the Panda onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock with Archival Black ink. Punch it out using the 2 1/4" circle.
Attached the greeting Love You on a clear block at a slight curve to match the Duet Punch. I punched out a piece and used it as a guide to the shape I needed. Stamp the greeting on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock with Crumb Cake ink. Punch it out.
Stamp the hearts from the Tabs for Everything stamp set using Crumb Cake ink onto the left edge of the Crumb Cake base.
Run the Pink Pirouette piece of cardstock through the Big Shot using the Sparkle Embossing Folder.
Attach the embossed piece of pink cardstock to the right of the card front. Keep an equal distance top, bottom, and right side.
Using Dimensionals pop the Love You banner over the front of the Panda.
Using Stampin' Dimensionals attach the Panda onto the pink portion of the cardfront, in any location you would like.
Accent the Panda with an enamel shape heart in your color choice.
