U
se your stamp sets and tools for more than they were intended! This card idea is using the new Carols of Christmas but using it for a masculine Birthday card idea! Clever, right?! It is always a good idea to make your stamping supplies go a little further!
This is the perfect card for the hunters or nature lovers on your Birthday card list!

Card Basics:
Cardbase (Always Artichoke): 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Top fold - fold along the longer side at 4 1/4"
Accent layer (Wood Textures paper): 5 1/4" x 4"
Accent pieces: Gold Foil scrap piece at least 2 1/4" x 2 1/4", Chocolate Chip scrap at least 2 1/2" x 2 1/2", Always Artichoke 2 1/4" x 2 1/4", and Crumb Cake 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" (for deer)
Greeting banner (Crumb Cake) 4 1/4" x 1"
Adhesive tips: You can add some Multi-purpose adhesive to the scrap piece of Always Artichoke towards the bottom of the piece BEFORE running it through the Big Shot.
Use SNAIL or something similar to adhere the paper layers together.
The greeting banner is popped up using Dimensionals and the deer is popped up using the new Mini Dimensionals.
Adhere the wood paper to the card front (paper to paper adhesive).
Stamp the deer using Soft Suede ink onto Crumb Cake paper.
Using the Big Shot cut the trees from Always Artichoke and the stamped deer.
Punch the Chocolate Chip paper using the 2 1/4" Circle punch and the Gold Foil paper using the Starburst punch.
Stamp "Happy Birthday" on the Crumb Cake piece using Soft Suede ink. Trim the ends of the paper strip using the Banner Triple punch.
Layer the Gold Foil starburst on the Chocolate Chip circle. Then adhere the layered "circles" to the right side of the wood paper front.
(Optional step) Remove the protective layer from the Multi-purpose adhesive on the back of the trees and add to layered "circles".
Pop up the little deer and the banner greeting. See adhesive tips for ideas of product to use.
