First we can say Hourra! That's French for Hooray!

The Biggest Fan Bundle is featured on page 69 in the Stampin' Up! January to June Catalog and the projects shown were all designed by the Concept Artists for the International catalog.

Depending on your area of the world, you'll have options for the language your greetings come in.

Choose: English, French, German, and limited supplies in Dutch. 

As a US Demonstrator I'm only allowed to sell products in English to US residents.

Technique One: Tone on Tone stamping

Let me just say - this is my FAVORITE stamping technique.

 

I use it ALL THE TIME.

 

You see it on the first card (on the left) when they use So Saffron ink to stamp on the So Saffron accent cardstock piece.

 

This creates a subtle background for the plain cardstock.

 

Next they did a faux tone on tone technique.

 

They used two pieces of 2" x 4" So Saffron patterned paper from the Subtles 6"x6" Designers Series Paper Pack.

 

Isn't that clever?!

 

The accent cardstock piece is attached using Dimensionals to give it some lift.

 

Pops of color in the Hooray and greeting

 

The Hooray (Hourra) is stamped in Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz ink and then the "ticket" end is die cut using the dies from the Your Biggest Fan Bundle.

 

The greeting (Happy Birthday) is stamped in Calypso Coral ink onto a separate piece of Basic White cardstock then attached to the ticket using Dimensionals.

 

Hooray card in the middle card!

 

This card is a 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" Balmy Blue cardbase, that is then folded in half to make a square card.

 

The Hooray is stamped on separate pieces of Basic White cardstock using Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz ink.

 

Happy Birthday is stamped using Calypso Coral ink onto a smaller piece of Basic White Cardstock.

 

 

The tone on tone technique is used again when they stamped some speckles onto the blue cardbase using Balmy Blue ink.

 

The center stripe is created using a 4" x 2" piece of paper from the You're a Peach paper pack.

 

All of the words are attached using Dimensionals in a random pattern over the paper piece.

 

Then to accent the card they attached some Resin Stars for a little twinkle.

 

Such a fun card!

 

Card three - Hurra (Hooray in German)

 

The cardbase is a 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Pear Pizzazz cardstock, folded in half with a top hinge.

 

A piece of 5 1/4" x 4" Pear Pizzazz paper from the Subtles pack is attached to the cardfront to create that faux tone on tone look.

 

The ticket outline is stamped with Calypso Coral ink and the Hooray greeting was stamped three times with Daffodil Delight ink.

 

Happy Birthday is stamped with Balmy Blue ink in the bottom part of the ticket.

 

Stitched Stars are die cut from So Saffron, Balmy Blue, and Calypso Coral cardstock.

 

They attached some loops of White Baker’s Twine and then attached the stamped greeting panel over the top using Dimensionals.

 

Wasn't that fun?!

 

Simple stamping does make cute cards!

Our Card Kit in the Mail is 2 years old this month!

It was born out of necessity! We had card kits prepped for an in person event that wasn't allowed to happen.

Instead of letting the cards go to waste, we offered them to the people to work on in the privacy of their own homes.

Then we opened them up to others who might have wanted a little creative release during a very trying time.

This card is from a recent Card Kit in the Mail and is a Classic Card Layout!

This means that can be made using any paper pack, and any color combination!

One design, that can be done multiple ways!

 

 

Here are all the details!

Cardbase - Basic White, cut a half sheet ( 8 1/2" x 5 1/2") and then fold in half for a left hinge card

Accent layer 1 - Basic Black 2 1/4'' x 5 1/4", Pretty Paper 1 - Friendly Hello Paper* 2" x 5"

Accent Layer 2 - Basic Black 3 1/4'' x 3 1/4", Pretty Paper 2 - Friendly Hello Paper* 3" x 3"

Greeting Tag - Basic White & Granny Apple Green, approx 3" x 2". Die cut using Hippo and Friends Dies

 

*Friendly Hello paper is part of the Friendly Hello Bundle which is a Level Two Saleabration freebie.

 

Tips for creating the card:

 

1.  Stamp a greeting onto a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock. Die cut it using the smaller of the two shapes. Run the Green cardstock piece through the die cut machine using the larger die at the same time.
2. Cut out all your paper and cardstock pieces.
3. Attach the paper layers onto the cardstock layers and your greeting label onto its accent layer.
4. Attach the combined rectangle layers to the left side of the card base. Leave approx. 1/2" border at the left side and 1/8" at both the top and the bottom.
5. Attached the combined square layers to the top area of the card front. leave approx 3/4" border to the top and 1/8" to the right.
6. Using Dimensionals attach the greeting tag onto the bottom of the square piece leaving approx 1/2" space to the bottom of the card.
