You + Me Two Ways
A card I created for our team meeting swap. It is a versatile and easy card that uses washi tape, embossed background, and little strip of DSP or ribbon! My card was inspired by the shaker card on page 4 of the Occasions catalog. Be sure you check out the alternate version!
8 1/2" x 5 1/2" Whisper White Cardstock. Score and fold at 4 1/4" along the 8 1/2" side.
3 1/4" x 4 3/4" Whisper White piece. Run through the Big Shot with the Happy Hearts Embossing folder. Adhere to the card base.
Use strips of Washi tape to cover the seam between the two white layers.
Stamp the image You plus Me onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock using Real Red ink. Punch inked image out using the 2" circle punch.
Layer on a piece of Crisp Canteloupe punched from the 2 1/2" circle punch. Use dimensionals to pop up the combined piece. Adhere on the upper right of card.
Cut a strip of DSP 1/2" x 4". Adhere across the card sliding a portion under the You plus Me embellishment.
Alternate card, using Lost Lagoon cardstock. Crisp Canteloupe ink. Hello Honey 5/8" Quilted Cotton Ribbon instead of DSP.
