Spring Card idea

Spring card 1

Take a look at a quick and easy spring card idea! You'll love the new "A Good Day" stamp set! Lots of cute greetings and focal stamps. I wanted to make a "thinking of you" type card, but this layout could be for Mother's Day, birthday, anniversary, etc. You name it and change the greeting and this card will serve the purpose!

Card Basics:
Cardbase (Old Olive) 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored along the long edge at 4 1/4" (or fold in equal halves).
Top Layer (Daffodil Delight) 4" x 5 1/4" (embossed using the Basket Weave Dynamic embossing folder)
Banner (Pool Party) punched using the Banner Triple Punch
Additional: Small piece of Whisper White for the focal point item

Stamp the small tree using Black ink and use markers or ink pads with blender pens to color in some of the tree.

Punch with scallop circle punch.

Stamp the greeting onto the punched Pool Party piece.

Attach the banner onto the embossed top layer using SNAIL or your favorite adhesive.

Using Glue Dots attach a piece of organza ribbon across the top of the banner and top layer. Using another piece of organza ribbon tie a cheater bow.

Add the scallop punched tree to the banner just above the greeting and below the ribbon using a Dimensional.

Attach the combined Top Layer onto the folded cardbase. You can do this with either SNAIL or Dimensionals.
