Going back to my scrapbook roots

There’s something about this photo that just hits me right in the heart.

On the left—little Connor James, excited and nervous for his very first day of 4K.

On the right—the grown-up senior, on graduation day.

One backpack. One diploma. Fourteen years of memories between them.

If you’re a sentimental auntie (like me) or maybe a sentimental gramma or mama, you get it.

These years flew by in a blur of lunchboxes, ballgames, band concerts, and school projects.

And now, with graduation over, I wanted a way to really honor a senior year—not just in a camera roll, but in a way that tells the story of who he’s become.

That’s why I'm going back to my scrapbooking roots and I'm going to purchase the brand-new  Month by Month Album Retreat 2025 Kit.

This fully prepped kit that will be sent out and be ready to assemble.

It will contain all the items needed to create 12 two page 12''x12'' layouts.

An album is not included in the kit purchase, so if you don't already have one there are two options for 12"x12" in my Online Store to choose from - a D ring or 1 1/2'' post 12'' x12'' album.

With the purchase of the kit you'll be sent a link for the Stampin’ Up! Virtual Album Retreat.

This will be a three-day online event that is designed to help us create all the layouts using the Month by Month Album Kit.

I'm excited that it is all designed and pre-cut—looking forward to just showing up, craft alongside Stampin’ Up! staff and other scrapbookers, and relive every beautiful memory of Connor’s last year of school.

They’ll walk us through each layout, give tips, and even throw in some fun giveaways. Yay! Fun!

If you're like me, you might not be able to attend live (it's happening during my work hours) so I'll be watching the replays that are included with the Stampin’ Up! Virtual Album Retreat

Honestly? It feels like the perfect full-circle way to celebrate his journey.

From that first little-boy smiles to the confident young man he is now—I'll be able to capture a year's worth.

So if you’re feeling all the senior year feels like I am or have a year's worth of photos to scrapbook, come scrapbook with me too.

Let’s preserve these moments before they fade into “remember when.”
