Party Panda fun

Somhs march swap 1

You said you needed a cute birthday card idea. How about one that is full of color, sparkle, and fun! Nothing could be better than a panda holding a balloon and wishing you Happy Birthday!

Card Basics:
Cardbase (Lemon Lime Twist) 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded in half along the long side to be a left hinge opening card
1st accent layer (Basic Black) 4" x 5 1/4"
Paper layer ( Picture Perfect Party) 3 3/4" x 5"
2nd accent layer (Basic Black) 2 3/4" x 4"
Focal point layer (Whisper White) 2 1/2" x 3 3/4"
Scrap of Berry Burst for the balloon (approx 1 1/2" x 2")

Stamp your choice of greeting inside the card. Do this first so that you can refold the card and can put the mistake under the layers of the outside of the card.

Stamp the Panda holding a balloon using black ink to the left and towards the bottom of your white piece of cardstock.

Using the same black ink stamp the Happy Birthday greeting just above the pandas head but to the right of the cardstock.

Layer and attach the larger black accent piece onto the front of the cardbase.

Layer and attach the pretty paper onto the black accent piece.

Layer and attach the stamped white piece onto the smaller black accent piece. Place this piece towards the bottom left side of the front.

From Berry Blast cardstock punch the smaller of the two balloons.

Tie a bow around the base of the balloon using gold glitter trim.

Attach the balloon over the stamped balloon using a Stampin' Dimensional.

Attach a few Tutti Fruitti sequins onto the front of the card to add a little sparkle.

TIP: Make the card using various pieces of the pretty paper, and switch out the Berry Burst for the cardbase and the Lemon Lime Twist for the balloon!
