Nature's Poem Birthday Card
Pretty fall Birthday card that uses your paper efficiently. Use any 12x12 paper. Cut into 4" wide strips. Then cut some paper into 3" high pieces and some paper into 2" high pieces. You will get 12 3" high pieces and 18 2" high pieces. That will make lots of cards in one siting!
Cardbase (Rich Razzleberry but could use Blackberry Bliss) - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4" along the long side (left fold card)
Inside (Very Vanilla) 4" x 5 1/4"
Paper (Nature's Poem) 1 piece 4" x 3' (top piece)
1 piece 4" x 2" (bottom piece)
Accent strip (Blackberry Bliss but could use Rich Razzleberry) 4" x 1"
Scrap pieces approx 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" of either Rich Razzleberry or Blackberry Bliss and Very Vanilla
Adhere the 4"x3" piece to the top of the card front. Adhere the 4"x2" piece to the bottom of the card front. Attach the 4"x1" strip to cover the seam of the change in paper.
Attach 2 Faceted Gems to the left side of the accent strip.
Stamp the leaf onto a piece of Very Vanilla with Cajun Craze ink. Then stamp a greeting over the leaf using Blackberry Bliss ink.
Punch the Very Vanilla piece with Starburst punch. Punch an accent piece using the 2 1/4" circle punch.
Attach the Very Vanilla piece onto the accent piece. Pop up combined pieces using Dimensionals.
Inside: Stamp the sentiment with Soft Suede ink
Add accents by stamping leaves in Blackberry Bliss and Cajun Craze.
