If you aren't familiar with me, I'm Lori Brausen. 
I'm known as the Duchess of Design.

This is a name that was bestow upon me by my coworkers over 30 years ago!

Wow! That makes me SOUND OLD!

My fulltime work gig is as a Residential Designer.

I design new homes and remodeling/additions to existing homes.

It is something that I am very good at and comes naturally to me.

I am divinely blessed with this talent, so I am grateful that I am able to use my gift to improve the lives of others.

This is an award winning project that took an old carriage house and turned it into an entertainment and guest house for our clients.

While I'm able to envision large houses and changes to homes, I also get to use my design abilities for cardmaking projects.

That's what I love about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

We each are able to shape what we do and what we show to reflect ourselves.

My perfect projects are started from sketches or basic layouts.

I call my designs CLASSIC CARD LAYOUTS.

I see all projects as a "breakdown" to basic elements that I can change up over and over to create NEW CARDS.

Here's an example:

Basics:

Cardbase- 8.5" x 5.5" folded in half for a top hinge opening card.

Background layer- 5.25" x 4"

Patterned paper: 5" x 1.25"

Embossed layer: 5" x 2.25"

Ribbon approx 5.5" or so
