My Dad's side of the family Christmas party was this past weekend.

I am extremely close with many of my cousins.

I lived with my Aunt Janice and her family when I was in my early 20's.

I have stayed close, like a daughter to her, and like a sister to her kids (my cousins).

My cousin Kelly and I shared a room when I lived with them.

When I was visiting with her during the party she was admiring the Christmas card I made for her.

She said she has taken to sending New Year's cards because then she can include a family photo that is taken during Christmas.

Her children are spread out over the US, two in WI (one near Milwaukee and one in Madison) and two in other states (one in California and one in Louisiana).

Christmas is the one time per year that all four of her children (and their families) are home.

As I said to her, I love the IDEA of a New Years card!

I had made a treat holder back in August using this paper and similar design. So for last month's Card Kit in the Mail I upped the size and made this cute card. Enjoy!

I'll be joining forces with my friends Lyssa and Kristine for a Home for the Holidays Stamp Camp!

We'll be holding a perfectly-sized mini camp on Friday, November 10th.

We know time is precious on weekends as the holidays approach, so we’re hoping this four-hour mini camp will enable you to have your fall weekend fun and still get some stamping in.

Things will kick off with either Lyssa or Kristine at 6 pm central time.

Lyssa will be creating some fun projects using the Fragrant Forest and Graceful Deer background stamps.

You can order them in advance so you'll be ready to stamp with them that night.

Or just watch the presentation, then create with them the next day!

She promises to show both FALL and HOLIDAY ideas with those fun stamps.

I can't wait to see the beautiful things Lyssa and Kristine will create!
