Today, I’m peeling back the layers and sharing something close to my heart. This post is for anyone who feels pulled in every direction, like you're spinning plates and hoping none fall and shatter. I see you, and I’m with you.

By day, I design homes—breathing life into spaces and imagining the possibilities within four walls. It’s a job that often feels more like a calling than work. I’m grateful every day for that. But even in my creative profession, stress sneaks in, like that surprise rain during a sunny day.

Deadlines loom, expectations mount, and suddenly, my creativity feels like it's encased in a pressure cooker. Those are the moments when what I love becomes just another checkbox on an ever-growing list. Sound familiar?

Let me share a little secret. I used to think papercrafting was just for scrapbooking family events.

I’d spend precious hours arranging photos and weaving in journaling to capture those fleeting moments. But card making? I swore it wasn’t for me.

Fast forward to now, and you’ll find me in my little crafting corner, surrounded by paper and glue, smiling over a simple card.

It’s become my sanctuary, a space where deadlines don’t exist and creativity flows like a gentle stream.

Whether I’m whipping up a batch of cards or pouring over a single, intricate piece, it’s my time. Just for me.

Crafting is where I find my breath, my pause, my joy. It’s where I rediscover that creative spark I had as a kid—where the world was full of endless possibilities.

If you’re feeling drained and disconnected from that inner creative child, let’s change that. Let’s laugh, play, and explore together. You don’t need to be an expert or have a studio filled with supplies. Start small, start simple, just start.
