Nothing Sweeter Catalog Case

One of the things I love best about the Nothing Sweeter stamp set and bundle is the ease to make treat holders, cards, or add little embellsihements to gifts. This was the first set I purchased out of the Holiday Catalog this year. I used one of the samples shown for the card set to inspire a project I presented at a recent card making party.

Card Basics:
Pool Party, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece, scored at 4 1/4" along the long side. Fold in half.

Whisper White strip - 2 1/4" x 4 1/4"

Scrap piece of Call Me Clover at least 2" x 2"

Stamp snowflakes from the Nothing Sweeter stamp set in random locations on the front of the card using Pool Party ink.

Stamp the greeting with Real Red ink onto the Whisper White piece at approx.1 1/4" from the bottom.

Stamp the Christmas tree outline and the garland with ornaments using Call Me Clover ink onto the Call Me Clover piece.

Use the tree shape Framelit to cut out the tree shape.

You can also add the scallop stitching onto the bottom of the Whisper White piece.

You can fit both items on your Big Shot at the same time, but the scallop stitching will have to go the long way through. It is too wide to go side to side.

Attach the Whisper White strip using SNAIL or your favorite adhesive onto the top and to the right of the card front.

Once the tree is cut out you can add some Red Rhinestones to add decorations and color to your tree.

Then use Dimensionals to pop the tree up off the Whisper White background.

Note: The star at the top of the tree is from a retired embellishment called Metallic Shapes. Currently there are Subtle Enamel Shapes that has stars on the Clearance Rack or current in the catalog is the Santa's Workshop Enamel Shapes or the Twinkle adhesive-backed sequins that could add some sparkle to your tree top.
