I showed this project in a series of Facebook posts as a teaser last week.

Here are the instructions and details pulled together in one spot for you!

Project Basics:

Cardbases: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" choose cardstock that coordinates with your paper, fold in half for a portrait style card (left hinge as shown).

Accent panels: 4" x 5 1/4" cardstock to compliment

Paper pieces: Choose three patterns that coordinate, cut each piece to 3" x 5".  Suggested paper: Take a Bow. Keep extra paper strips from 6" x 6" paper to use to decorate the inside panel.

Greeting tagNeutral cardstock die cut or punched with your favorite tag and paper sized per accent required.

Accent strip in lieu of ribbon: coordinating cardstock 4" x 1/2"

Inside piece: 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White, if using dark cardbase.

Embellishments: Your favorite bling

Prep papers:

  • Cut each piece of patterned paper into three 1" x 5" strips. You will mix one pattern per card.

Project Instructions:

  • Center and attach the mixed three pieces of paper onto the accent background piece.
  • Decide if you are going to wrap ribbon around the accent piece, if so attach the ribbon first. If not, then proceed to the next step.
  • Center and attach the combined pieces to the card front.
  • Stamp a greeting on the neutral cardstock and die cut or punch to create a greeting tag.
  • Attach greeting tag using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • Attach gems or your favorite bling to the card front as desired.
  • Stamp a greeting on the 4” x 5 1/4” Basic White cardstock and decorate with the paper 4” x 1” patterned paper as desired. Center and attach inside the card.
