Honor Flight Stamp Night 2019

Honor flight card wm

Our group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators gather every month for a Team meeting. At that meeting we share project ideas while doing hands on projects, and share business ideas, and cheer for each other's accomplishments. It's really one of my favorite parts of being a Demonstrator. About five years ago we also started doing a monthly service project as a group. Originally we alternated making cards for different organizations each month. About four years ago we decided to focus on only one service project, we would make cards for the Mail Call on the Honor Flights from both Madison and Milwaukee. It has been a wonderful project for us and has been very heartwarming. I will post more about our recent stamping event, but for now, let me present my card. This is a #simplestampingcard and it uses #retiringproduct

Card Basics:
Cardbase (Night of Navy) 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Fold in half along the long side. Makes a top fold card.

Background piece (Whisper White) 5 1/4" x 2 "

Inside piece (whisper White) 5 1/4" x 4"

Greeting (Real Red) Min 3" x 1 3/4"
(Whisper White) 3" x 1"

Attach a light piece of cardstock inside the cardbase. I left this blank since I was using it to write a thank you note, but you could stamp a greeting inside (stamp stars if you'd like).

On the Whisper White piece stamp large star using Night of Navy ink. Put them in a random pattern.

Stamp smaller stars using Real Red ink in between the large stars.

Adhere the panel to the top portion of the card front leave and equal space side to side and approx. 1/2" space at the top of the card.

Stamp "thanks" onto the white strip using Night of Navy ink.

Next stamp smaller stars using Real Red ink.

Center the piece in the Everyday Label punch and punch out the greeting.

Punch a Real Red piece using the Everyday Label punch.

Layer the white piece on the red piece and attach together using SNAIL.

Attach greeting over the front panel using Dimensionals.
